Welcome to the Gallitzin Tunnels! Please enjoy touring this interesting and historic site. Also, don't forget to check out the nearby museum across the street (open seasonally except on holidays, Tu-Su 11-5). This geocache was placed with permission by the Gallitzin Area Tourist Council.
To find the geocache, first locate the information sign at the posted coordinates and determine the answers to the following questions:
A = The fourth digit in the year construction began on the first tunnel.
B = The first digit in the day in January when the first tunnel was completed.
C = The number of feet of unstable coal vein that plagued construction minus 3.
D = The number of times the railway was threatened by the Confederates and Nazis minus 2.
E = The sum of the middle two numbers in the length of the tunnels.
F = The number of tunnels currently in operation.
Fill in the missing coordinate information in the expression below to determine the location of the cache.
