The Grand Halle is decked and eight of the region’s brightest musical talents will be shining there during the annual SongWorks Christmas Dinner-Show on Wednesday, December 12. For the sixth year, the artists of this songwriting workshop will be celebrating the holidays their way with original music plus stylistic versions of traditional Christmas favorites. SongWorks draws musicians from around the region to monthly gatherings, where they encourage one another to create new music and hone their performance skills. This year’s line-up of featured performers will combine some familiar faces with some new ones: Gavin Adams, Denise Baldwin, Sam Coco, Malcolm Crittenden, Scotty Hoover, Barry Poglein, Carole Rively and Mark Swank. As in the past, this will be a dinner-show, catered by Flair of Country. The menu will include chicken cordon bleu, Rosemary-roasted red potatoes, roasted vegetables, garden salad and homemade cookies and brownies for dessert. Water will be included with the dinner and guests are welcome to bring their own beverages. Dinner will be served at 6:00 pm and the concert starts at 7:00.
